JUNIOR HYDROGEOLOGIST - Perth, Western Australia
As part of the continued development of our well established Western Australian hydrogeological capability, we are looking to appoint a Junior Hydrogeologist to our Perth office.
Working with highly experienced hydrogeologists and a well established client base, you will be an integral part of a project team, employed on a range of different sized projects principally within the WA mining sector. Work will cover hydrogeological assessments, water supply investigations, dewatering studies and groundwater management. A significant element of the job will be fieldwork based site supervision of water exploration and production bore drilling and testing programmes, followed by office based data analysis and reporting.
You will have a minimum of a first degree in a geoscience discipline and preference will be given to candidates with a MSc in Hydrogeology or who are working towards such a degree. A minimum of 1 year’s professional consultancy or mine experience is preferred, but recent graduates with suitable qualifications will also be considered.

WATER/CIVIL/ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERS – Perth, Western Australia
We require Water/Civil/Environmental Engineers to fill project-level positions in our water engineering team for upcoming projects based out of our Perth office. Our team specialises in surface water assessments, site water management and water supply/dewatering system engineering.
We are seeking qualified engineers with 3 to 5 years experience in water/civil/environmental engineering, with a particular focus on surface water management, including the design of water retaining and diversion structures. Experience with the design of water supply and dewatering pump/pipeline systems would be advantageous. The projects will be Perth office-based and will include short trips within Western Australia; international travel is also possible.

We require a Senior Water Resources Engineer/Engineering hydrologist for upcoming projects based out of our UK/Dublin offices. This challenging position is a unique opportunity for a Water Resources Engineer/Engineering Hydrologist with a minimum of 8 years’ experience to manage and supervise projects involving engineering design and construction supervision for water supply and mine dewatering systems, mine water management and surface water management.

Specifically:

Role: Engineer/Hydrologist who can design pumping systems, do flood studies, design culverts and diversions and undertake water balance studies. Initially undertaking mining work, but ultimately a whole range of surface water projects and studies, from low flows to flooding.

Train others to develop a surface water modelling capacity.

Marketing - Capable of marketing to the mining industry.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 8 years experience, preferably with significant mining (Senior/Principal)

Modelling experience of HECRAS and ISIS or TUFLOW,

Any experience of low flows models (e.g. HYSIM) and water resources planning models (e.g. Aquator) would be an advantage.
